Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 1975, died in 1970) is an acclaimed American actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter in NBC's drama Providence. She also received acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper on the CBS soap show Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The actress is currently working on a movie adaptation of the autobiography written by writer Elisabeth K. Kubler-R The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley parlapanides. The duo who wrote the script for Immortals. She is also filming for a upcoming show called Gods & Heroes.
