Maribel is one of the Virginia born native, who was brought up by her parents in Virginia by her mother and father as well as her siblings. The details of her life are limited. As a child, Maribel wanted to be the next lawyer, and she aimed to pursue her career in the field of law. When her high school graduation was over, she was admitted to the University of Virginia to pursue an undergraduate degree in German along with a minor in Foreign Policy. It is among the oldest universities within the US and dates its beginnings up to 1819, the year it was established with the help of Thomas Jefferson, one of the authors of the Declaration of Independence. It now offers over a 100 courses centered around Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is around 1,600 acres to the university's central campus and many more are devoted to the research park as well as the university's farm.
